Choosing a repair
facility is not the easiest process. Let's face it, most of us don't
have a bodyshop picked out just in case we have an accident. The
truth is we aren't planning to have an accident.
1. All
collision repair facilities are not created equal.
2. The front office should be clean and orderly.
3. Ask for a tour of the facility.
4. The facility should have the latest equipment. Ask if
they have a unibody frame repair machine/ measuring equipment, MIG
welders and a dust-free paint environment (spray booth).
5. Ask about the paint system. A quality paint system ensures
that your vehicle will be returned to factory texture and gloss.
6. Look for certificates declaring participation in professional
and fraternal organizations, and certificates from technical training
courses.
7. Ask for a written warranty on collision repair and refinishing.
